For GENI Practicing Physicians training will include:
A web-based update on a geriatric syndrome
A two-hour faculty development session on quality improvement as it relates to the geriatrics syndrome of choice
Facilitated by GENI Leadership or GENI Educator in close proximity
Facilitated in the GENI Practicing Physician’s office with staff
Follow-up after the quality improvement session
Assistance in the quality improvement process for the ABIM Internal Medicine recertification examination
Continuing Medical Education and American Academy of Family Physicians credits for participating
A Resource Change Packet containing up to date geriatrics tools including local resources for patients
